Japan, 1605. Hidetada Tokugawa has succeeded his father as the new Shogun, ruling from the great city of Edo, now Tokyo. All the most powerful families in Edo are trying to curry favor with the new Shogun, and you must ensure that your clan will prove indispensable to him. Work from the shadows to acquire information about rival clans, kidnap those who might oppose your ascent and assassinate those who prove too great a threat.
