There are not a lot of ways to kill a vampire. While decapitation and exposure to direct sunlight will do, there’s just no substitute for a well-whittled stake to rid yourself of that undead pest. Factory X now gives us a striking prop replica made of actual, hand-carved wood that comes in a handsome satin-lined, black wooden box. The outside of the box is adorned with an attractive brass plaque, and the inside of the lid features the now-famous words, “Into every generation a Slayer is born, one girl in all the world, a chosen one.” Featured prominently in the show’s first season, this stake was also used extensively in promotional shots for the show!
